Garnet L Fawbush, 84, of Scottsburg Indiana, died Friday, January 23 2004 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville Kentucky. She was born October 21 1919 in Washington County Indiana to Patrick & Clara Ethel (Sanders) Warinner, deceased. Her husband, Elisha Fawbush also preceded her in death along with 2 sons, 2 brothers and a sister. Mrs. Fawbush was retired from the Crothersville Shoe Co and was a member of Greater Life Tabernacle in Scottsburg Indiana. She is survived by a son, Steve Fawbush of Salem Indiana and two daughters, Marilyn Bowling of Hamilton Ohio and Linda Campbell of Chuluota Florida along with 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren & 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation: 4-8pm, Saturday, January 24 2004 at Stewart Funeral Home. Services: 2pm, Sunday, January 25 2004 at the funeral home with Pastor David Sanders officiating and burial in Mt. Eden Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to Greater Life Tabernacle c/o of Stewart Funeral Home.

Thomas Leo Fields, 84, died January 21 2004 at his residence in Scottsburg IN. He was born February 16 1919 in Jennings County IN to Forrest & Daisy Margaret (Wheaton) Fields, deceased. He was married to Anna Marie (Harvack) Fields, deceased. Mr. Fields was retired from B & O Railroad as a detective and held memberships with The Grand Lodge F&AM of Ohio-Cheviot F&AM and the Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati. Survivors: brothers, Harold Fields of Scottsburg IN & Merle Fields of Ingalls IN.

Visitation: noon-2pm, Saturday, January 24 2004 at Stewart Funeral Home. Services: 2pm, Saturday, January 24 2004 at the funeral home, Pastor Bob Flynn officiating. Burial: 11am, Monday, January 26 2004 at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati OH. Memorial Contributions: First Baptist Church, Scottsburg c/o of Stewart Funeral Home.

WILLIAM LOWELL "BUZZ" WHITLATCH, 82, died Sunday, January 19 2004 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville IN. He was born August 13 1921 in Lexington IN to the late Elbridge & Alice (Gray) Whitlatch and was a retired store owner & retired postmaster of Lexington IN. He was a member of Lexington Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder; member of English F&AM Lodge #622; Scottsburg OES #107; Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite; Murat Shrine of Indianapolis; National Retired Postmasters Assoc.; the American Legion; and a veteran of US Navy, World War II. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L Whitlatch & 3 brothers. Survivors: sons, Keith Whitlatch of Sellersburg IN & Carl Whitlatch of Sugarland TX; daughter, Carol Peters of Dallas TX; brother Earl Whitlatch of Lexington; 7 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation: 2-8pm Tuesday, January 20  and 9am-1pm Wednesday, at Stewart Funeral Home. Services: 1pm, Wednesday, January 21 2004 at Stewart Funeral Home with burial in Lexington Cemetery. Arnold M Cutshall, 97, died Thursday, January 8 2004 at his residence, Austin IN. He was born March 29 1906 in Scott County IN to William & Jennie (Lucas) Cutshall, deceased. His wife preceded him in death in l932. He was retired from Morgan's Foods, a retired farmer, a veteran of U.S.Army, World War II, and member of New Providence Baptist Church.  Survivors: sister Lillian Zuckschwerdt of Austin and many nieces & nephews. Five brothers preceded in death.

Visitation: 4-8PM EST Saturday January 10 2004 & after 10am Sunday at Stewart Funeral Home. Services: 1:00pm, Sunday, January 11 2004 with Rev. Charles Hedgepath officiating, burial in New Frankfort Cemetery, Austin IN with Sellersburg American Legion Graveside Service.
