Vernie W Goldman, 80 of Sellersburg IN, died Monday, September 27 2004 at University of Louisville hospital in Louisville KY. He was born July 1 1924 in Riddle IN to Cecil Ray & Cecil Kemp Goldman, who preceded him in death along with 1 brother & 2 sisters. He was married September 12 1979 to Freda Willis Goldman who survives. Mr. Goldman was retired from Colgate in the receiving department, a volunteer with Oak Park Christian Ministries, a member of Oak Park Baptist Church in Jeffersonville IN and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Georgia Therma Talley, 89, died Thursday, September 16 2004 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg IN. She was born June 14 1915 in Scottsburg IN to Johnny & Lottie Clegg Keith, who preceded her in death. She was married to Robert Lee Talley who also preceded her in death along with a daughter & a brother. Mrs. Talley was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Scottsburg, the Widows Club, and Scottsburg Poetry Club. Survivors: sons, Daniel L Talley of Underwood IN & Robert D Talley of Dekalb IL; sister, Madge Saunders of Coshocton OH; 4 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.

Bernice Wilson, 96, died Friday, September 10 2004 at Scott Villa Living Center in Scottsburg IN. She was born May 26 1908 in LIndsay CA to Lewis W & Viola Wilkinson McClellan who preceded in death. She was married to Delbert B Wilson who also preceded her in death along with 2 sisters & 1 brother. Mrs. Wilson was a member, former church treasurer & historian for Zoah Christian Church, a member of the LDC group at the church, and a homemaker. Survivors: daughter: Kaye Voyles (husband Les) of Ft. Wayne IN; son John L Wilson of Scottsburg IN; 3 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.
