Robert William Bressler
, 81, of Nabb IN, died at his residence on Wednesday, December 28 2005. Robert was born March 26 1924 in Nabb to Aaron & Nannie Wise Bressler.  Robert was a farmer, a mail carrier retiring l986, a member of Bethel Baptist at Memphis, Charlestown F&AM #226, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, VFW of Scottsburg, past commander of DAV of Scottsburg, and a veteran of U.S.Army during World War II. He was married to Vivian Henderson Bressler who survives. Other survivors: son, Robert A Bressler (wife Patty) of Nabb; daughters, Margaret Waltman of Charlestown, Beverly Robbins (husband Leon) of Sellersburg, Mary Cerami (husband Frank) of Scottsburg, Pamela Kay Huttsell (husband Ed) of Nabb; sisters, Leora Midddleton & Barbara Peacock (husband Earl) both of Nabb; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, & 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation: 4-8pm Friday December 30 2005 & 9am-11am Saturday at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 11am Saturday at the funeral home with Mike Hoard officiating & burial in Barnes Cemetery. Masonic Services 7pm Friday at the funeral home & military graveside services on Saturday

June Perrin
, 86, of Scottsburg IN, died December 2 2005 at Sellersburg Health & Rehab Center in Sellersburg IN. She was born June 25 1919 in Scottsburg IN to Gilbert & Bertha Mount Higdon, deceased and was married to Reginald Perrin, deceased. June had been employed at Morgan Packing Co and later employed at the License Branch in Scottsburg. She was a member of Scottsburg First Baptist Church & a 50 year member of Scottsburg Order of the Eastern Star #107. Survivors: son, Robert M Perrin of Jeffersonville IN; a daughter, Carol J Hill of Grand Blanc MI; 4 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation: 4-8pm Monday December 5 2005 at Stewart Funeral Home & 9am-11am Tuesday December 6 2005 at First Baptist Church in Scottsburg with Funeral Services at 11am at the church. Burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Pastor Mark Spencer & Pastor Bob Flynn officiating. Memorial Eastern Star services 7pm Monday at the funeral home. Lora E Richards, 92, of Scottsburg IN, died December 2 2005 at Scott Villa HealthCare Center in Scottsburg IN. She was born August 25 1913 in Jackson County IN to John & Effia Jane McKain Pillman deceased and was married to Ottis "Roundy" Richards deceased. She had been a former sales clerk for Shoppers Mart. She was a member of First Christian Church of Scottsburg, the Friendship Club of the church, and Scottsburg Order of Eastern Star #107. Survivors: daughter, Norma Jean Owen of Crothersville IN; brother John Pillman of Mitchell IN; sisters Marjorie Strouse of Brownstown IN & Lucille Ross of Plainfield IN; 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren & 7 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers & 1 sister.

Howard M Carter, 91, formerly of Scottsburg IN, died in Huntington Beach CA on November 16 2005. He was born February 5 1914 in Scottsburg IN to Thomas & Daisy Craig Carter who preceded him in death along with his wife, Helen E Carter, 4 brothers & 2 sisters.  He retired  from Cummins Engine Co as a cutter-grinder and was a veteran in the U.S. Army during World War II.  Survivors: son, Dr. H. Mark Carter (wife Jennifer) of Yorba Linda CA; daughter, Hannah Kay Carter of Huntington Beach CA; sister, Mary Alice Carter Darrah of Dayton OH & 1 granddaughter.
