Jackson, 91, died Friday May 27
2005 at Scott Villa Nursing & Rehab Center in Scottsburg IN. She was born July
27 1913 in Vallonia Indiana to Virgil & Anna Belle McElfresh Crockett. Mrs.
Jackson was a homemaker and a member of Scottsburg United Methodist Church.
Survivors: daughters: Janet McDaniel of Scottsburg IN, Pat Rohm (husband James)
of Madison IN; sons: Les "Sonny" Voyles (wife Kaye) of Ft. Wayne IN, Billy
Voyles of Scottsburg IN, Donn Voyles (wife Joy) of Columbus IN; brother, Francis
"Pick" Crockett of Vero Beach FL; sister, Mahaska "Hassie" Keifel of Cincinnati
OH; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, 2 husbands, 2 brothers, 3 sisters.
Visitation: 4-8pm Sunday May 29 & after 10am Monday at Stewart Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: 11am Monday May 30 2005 at the funeral home with Rev. Doug

Verne Fawbush,
77, of Scottsburg IN died Saturday, May 21 2005 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in
Scottsburg. He was born June 24 1927 in Gibson Twp Washington County to William
& Nina Holstine Fawbush who are deceased. Mr. Fawbush was married to Lois
Huckleberry Fawbush. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with Hanson Stone
in Salem IN, a member of Little York Methodist Church, the Teamsters, and a
veteran of World War II U.S. Army with the 82nd Paratroopers Regiment.
Survivors: his wife Lois of Scottsburg; daughter, Karen Marr (husband Don) of
Scottsburg IN; sister, Mary Robertson of Nashville IN; Grandchildren; Wayne Marr
of Georgetown IN, Donetta Swift (Skip) of Scottsburg IN, Debbie Rueve (David) of
Clarksville IN, Jason Marr of New Albany IN, & great grandchild C.J. Swift of
Scottsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 children, 3 brothers, 3
sisters.
Visitation: 4:30pm-5:30pm EST Tuesday May 24 2005 at Stewart Funeral
Home. Memorial Service: 5:30pm EST Tuesday with Rodney
Sweeney & Alan Lamb officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial
Contributions to Little York Methodist Church or Lung Association.

Edward Forest Hall, 77, died
Friday, May 20 2005 at Riverview Village in Clarksville IN. He was born November
23 1927 to John Forest & Sarah Elizabeth Motsinger Hall, who are deceased.
Edward was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Jeffersonville IN. He is
survived by his sisters: Mary A Elliott of Scottsburg IN, Pauline Mockabee
(husband John) of Jeffersonville IN, his twin sister Elizabeth Westfall of
Campbellsburg IN; Ruth Evans of Hopkinsville KY, Neva Clark of Clarksville IN,
Barbara Morris Nix of Jeffersonville IN, & Audra Payne of Salem IN; his brother,
Elmo Levi Hall (wife Debbie) of Salem IN; along with many nieces & nephews &
great nieces & nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2
brothers, Charles Scott Hall, Robert Sloan Hall and 1 sister, Gladys Hall.
Visitation: 11am - 1pm
EST Monday May 23 2005 at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 1pm Monday at
the funeral home with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery in Washington County.

Thelma R Biggs, 90, died Wednesday May 18 2005 in Dexter Missouri. She was born November 27 1914 in Remington Indiana to Michael & Martha Pixley Feeler and she was married to Raymond Biggs. Mrs. Biggs was a housewife, attended Memphis IN General Baptist Church and was a member of Memphis IN Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter & 2 brothers. Survivors: daughters; Janice Coats of Scottsburg, Marilyn Coats of Salem; sons; Kenneth Biggs of Dexter MO, Morris Biggs of New Albany, Michael Biggs of Austin, Keith Biggs of Columbus; 16 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren.
