Roy Milton Lowe, 73, of Scottsburg,
died Thursday November 10 2005 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany IN. He
was born April 9 1932 in Indianapolis IN to Roy C & Robbie L Cotton Lowe who are
deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gertie and a sister Roberta
Lowe. Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Korea, a member of
Green Street Baptist Church, a charter member of Charlestown VFW, was a Kentucky
Colonel, was the owner of Economy Auto Parts, former employee at the old Army
Ammunition plant in Charlestown, & a former employee at RCA in Indianapolis.
Survivors: son, Roy A Lowe; daughters, Linda Zollman, Donna Dowd, Diana
Hargesheimer, Teresa Roll, & Tammy Caudell all of Scottsburg; 14 grandchildren &
8 great grandchildren.
Visitation: 4-8pm Saturday November 12 2005 and after 10:30am Sunday at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 1pm Sunday November 13 2005 at the funeral home with Rev Raymond Rosebrock officiating & burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Joanne S Breeding, 74, a resident of Scott County for 20 years, died Saturday, November 5 2005 at Scott Villa & Extended Living Center in Scottsburg IN. She was born September 25 1931 in Cook County IL and had formerly resided in the Chicago IL area. Joanne was formerly employed as an assistant deputy sheriff for Scott County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward A & Dorothy L Smock Sprungman and her husband, Henry Clint "Hank" Breeding, Sr. Survivors: sons; Henry Clint Breeding, Jr., of Algonquin IL, Edward Charles Breeding of Savannah GA, David Arthur Breeding of Baltimore MD, Charles R Breeding of Tempe AZ and 3 grandchildren. There will be no services.
