G Soloe, 54, died Friday, May 12
2006 at his residence in Lexington Indiana. He was born July 11 1951 in Harlan
Kentucky to Robert Steve & Macy Thomas Soloe. He was married to Joann Napier
Soloe. Bobby was a Carpenter Superintendent with Taylor Brothers Construction in
Columbus IN and held memberships with Washington F&AM #13 in Brownstown IN;
Indiana #1775 Carpenters Union; and Labors #741 International Union of North
American for 12 years. Surviving along with parents and wife, Joann; son,
Robert J Soloe of Lexington IN; daughter, Julie Soloe of Denver CO; brothers,
Tony Soloe of Scottsburg IN and Tim Soloe & wife Andrea of Lexington IN; sister,
Lana Davidson of Lexington IN. Visitation: 4-8pm Monday May 15 2006 &
11am-1pm Tuesday at Stewart Funeral Home. Masonic Services: 7:30pm, Monday, at
the funeral home. Funeral Services: 1pm Tuesday May 16 2006 at
the funeral home with Pastor Nicky Spicer officiating and burial in
Lexington Cemetery. Memorial Contributions: Vista Care; Relay for Life; or to
the family.

Alva Ernest Ross,
88 of Scottsburg Indiana, died Friday, May 5 2006 at Scottsburg Healthcare. He
was born August 7 1917 in Clark County Indiana to Burt & Carrie Cole Ross and
was married to Ruth Ross, all who preceded him in death. Alva was a member of
First Christian Church of Scottsburg and a retired employee of the City of
Scottsburg. Survivors: stepson, Ray H Zollman and step daughters, Jeanne Abbott
& Virginia Daniel all of Scottsburg; 15 step grandchildren & several step great
grandchildren & several step great great grandchildren. Visitation:
5-7pm Monday, May 8 2006 at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral
Services: 7pm Monday May 8 2006 with Larry DeWitt officiating. Burial
in Scottsburg Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to Scott County Heritage Museum.
