Mathew M Kemp, 74 of Scottsburg IN, died Friday, January 12 1007 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville IN. He was born January 13 1932 in Scottsburg IN to John H & Mamie Compton Kemp who are deceased. He was married to Helen Bowling Kemp who also preceded him in death. Mathew was retired from Cummins Engine in Columbus, a member of First Christian Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors: son, Billy M Kemp of Scottsburg; daughters, Eunice K Clem & husband Brad of Scottsburg, Sharon L Richey & husband Rex of Scottsburg, Debra S Abner of Scottsburg; brother, Dallas Kemp of Florida; 4 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Wilma L Miller & Thelma Fagersten. Visitation: 4-8pm, Monday, January 15 2007 and 9-11am, Tuesday at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 11am, Tuesday, January 16 2007 at the funeral home with Phil LaMaster officiating and burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.

Jacqueline S Jenkins, 53, of Lexington IN, died Friday, January 12 2007 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany IN. She was born January 10 1954 in Scott County IN to Billy Robbins & Melva Dean Ellis Robbins. Jacqueline was married to Elden Jenkins. She was a homemaker and for 21 years had been employed with Scott School District 2. She held membership with American Legion Auxiliary Scott Post 234. Survivors: husband, Elden Jenkins of Lexington IN; son, Larry Jenkins & wife Rhonda of Lexington IN; father, Billy Robbins of Lexington IN; sisters, Lillie Thomas & Mary Ruth Walker both of Lexington IN and 2 grandchildren, Alexander Jenkins & Shelby Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melva Robbins. Visitation: 4-8pm Sunday January 14 2007 & after 9am Monday at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 11am Monday January 15 2007 at the funeral home with Pastor Danny McDonald officiating and burial in Lexington Cemetery.

C. Maurice Hardy, 96, of Lexington
IN, died Saturday, December 30 2006 at his son's home in Salem IN. Maurice was
born September 4 1910 in Lexington IN to Charles E & Ella M Lothrop Hardy, both
deceased. He was married to Mae Wilson Hardy who also preceded him in death on
November 1 1975. A brother, Dr. Lester Hardy also preceded in death. Maurice was
a l932 graduate of Hanover College; a member, elder & former treasurer of
Lexington Christian Church, a former member of Lexington Volunteer Fire
Department, and a former treasurer of Lexington Cemetery Association, and a
retired farmer, former school bus driver and a former post office employee.
Survivors: sons, Lynn Hardy & wife Dana Gail of Salem, Lowell Keith Hardy of
Scottsburg; daughter, Marcella Jarema & husband Robert Parsons of Houston TX.
Visitation: 4-8pm, Tuesday, January
2 2007 at Stewart Funeral Home and after Noon Wednesday at
Lexington Christian Church in Lexington IN. Funeral Service: 2pm,
Wednesday, January 3 2007 at the Church with Anthony Sweeny & Ron
