Joshua David Henson, 13 of Palmyra
IN and formerly of Austin IN, died Thursday, July 12 2007 in New Albany IN. He
was born August 26 1993 in Seymour IN to Jerry & Josephine Hopper Henson who
survive. Joshua was an 8th grade student at Shiloh Holiness Christian School in
Corydon and a member of Shiloh Pilgrim Holiness Church in Corydon and former
member of Madison Pilgrim Holiness. Survivors with his parents are: brother,
Timothy Orville Henson of Palmyra; sisters, Jessica Marie Wolf (Jonathan) of
Madison & Sara Christine Hilderbrand (Bill) of Seymour; and paternal
grandmother, Mary Ruth Brummett of Austin IN. He was preceded in death by 3
grandparents. Visitation: 4-8pm Sunday July 15 2007 after noon Monday at
Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 1:30pm Monday July 16 2007 at Stewart
Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Ranke & Bro. Bob Leach officiating and

Howard Leslie Zollman,
80, of rural Scottsburg, died at his residence, Thursday, July 12 2007. He was
born May 8 1927 in Clegg IN to Floyd Leslie & Beatrice Ellen Thompson Zollman
who preceded him in death along with 3 brothers & 1 grandson. He was a former
employee of the railroad and retired after 30 years from IKEC. He was also a
member of Scottsburg First Christian Church. Survivors: wife, Pat Kelley Zollman
of Scottsburg; son, David Leslie Zollman (Tanya) of Charlestown IN; daughters,
Kathie Eversole (Jim) of Avilla IN, Ida Ellen McGuire (Dale) of Scottsburg &
Kelley Marie Spaulding (Dale) of Henryville; brothers, Russell Zollman of
Rockford IL, Donald Zollman (Harriett) of Henryville; sisters, Helen Bagshaw
(Herbert), Mary Vannoy, Glenna Alsup & Inez Hardy all of Henryville. Also 12
grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren.

Nida G VanHoose, 59, of Paintsville KY, died Wednesday, July 11 2007 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis IN. She was born January 30 1948 in Prestonsburg KY to Tom & Ella Belle Ackers Moore. Nida married Joe Howard VanHoose on September 30 1974. Joe is a local business man in Paintsville KY and Nida was a homemaker. Survivors: husband, Joe; sons, Thomas Van Hoose & Harry Van Hoose, son Richard VanHoose preceded in death; Stepson, Joey VanHoose; sister, Ella Rose Reavis; brothers, Tommy Moore, Robert Moore & Kelly Moore. Visitation: 5-8pm Saturday July 14 2007 at Paintsville Funeral Home in Paintsville KY. Rachel H Turner, 94, of Scottsburg
IN, died Tuesday, July 3 2007 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville IN.
Rachel had lived in the Scottsburg area since l947. She was born December 9 1912
in Breathitt County KY to Thomas T & Aggie Raliegh Herald who are deceased along
with her husband Kash Turner. Rachel was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church
in Austin IN, had retired in l974 as a cashier from Morgan Supermarket and was a
machinist at Wright Patterson during WWII. Survivors: Bert Turner of Scottsburg;
daughter-in-law Shirley T Turner of Austin; brother Elliott R Herald of Pawleys
Island SC; sister-in-law Marie Herald of Scottsburg; grandchildren Lonnie M
Turner (Diane) of Floyds Knobs & Tonja Kintner (Alvin) of Scottsburg; great
grandchildren Bertram G Kintner & Robert K Kintner. She was also preceded in
death by a son Lonnie Turner & a brother Sigel R Herald. Visitation:
4-8pm, Thursday, July 5 2007 and after 9am Friday at Stewart Funeral Home.

Pastor Peter McClellan officiating and burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Memorial
