Ida Mae Stewart, 89, of Scottsburg, died Wednesday, September 26 2007 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg. She was born November 24 1917 in New Albany to Earl B & Ruth Woelflin who preceded her in death. She was married to Charles M Stewart and he also preceded her in death. Ida Mae was a graduate of Scottsburg High School and was a retired co-owner and funeral director of L. B. Stewart & Son Funeral Home from l939-1986. She was a member of First Christian Church of Scottsburg, American Legion Auxiliary, Psi Iota Xi, Scottsburg Order of the Eastern Star #107 and also past worthy matron, and seniors bowling league. Survivors: son, Philip L Stewart & wife Marsha of Scottsburg; daughter, Jerilyn Kay Thomas & husband Rick of Blairsville GA; Grandchildren; Tracey Mullins & husband Tim, Todd Stewart & wife Sharon, Brent Thomas & wife Dora, Erin Stewart, Shannon Bothwell & husband Andrew, Leanne Floyd & husband Carnell; great grandchildren, Holly Stewart, Kaylee Thomas, Sarah Thomas, Kaleb Davoudpour, Alicia Davoudpour, Tyler Bothwell; sisters, Lenora Lori of Sebastain FL & Gladys Sieviking of Pittsburgh PA. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mildred Armstrong and Dorothy Maupin. Visitation: 4-8pm Thursday, September 27 2007 and after 9am Friday at Stewart Funeral Home. He was born August 30 1914 in Scottsburg to Oscar & Lula Lutes Bridgewater, deceased. He was married to Margery LaMaster Bridgewater who survives. Wilson was retired as a plaster contractor and a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Scottsburg.
