G Nolan, 61, of
Scottsburg, died June 23 2008 at Chandler Medical Center UK Hospital in
Lexington KY. He was born February 18 1947 in Oneida KY to Bill Nolan & Doris
Hensley Nolan. Charles married Lois Baker on November 26 1971 in Corbin KY.
Charles was currently a college professor at Ivy Tech Community College; retired
middle school & high school teacher at Austin IN; former owner of Loaves &
Fishes Christian Book Store; a GED instructor; Nolans' Educational Consulting
Services; an avid photographer specializing in nature & flowers; member of PAWS
(Plant & Wildflower Society); & was a Candidate for the Teacher in Space
Program. He was a graduate of Cumberland College in Williamsburg KY &
received a Masters from Indiana University. He was a member of First Christian
Church of Scottsburg; Past President of Friends of the Library; Past President
of Classroom Teachers Assoc. at Austin; member of the Chamber of Commerce;
member of Gideon's International; Scott County Genealogical Society. He was
preceded in death by his father, Bill Nolan. Survivors with his wife Lois; son,
Joel Nolan of Scottsburg; daughter, Bethany Nolan of Bloomington; mother, Doris
Hensley Nolan Davidson of Port Royal SC; sisters, Billie Jean Nolan & Darlena
Davidson of Port Royal SC; brothers, Don Nolan of Folkston GA, Wayne Nolan of
Burton GA, Corbet Nolan of Stuttgart Germany, James Davidson of Port Royal SC.
Visitation: 4pm-8pm, Thursday, June 26 2008 at Stewart Funeral Home and
11am-1pm, Friday at First Christian Church of Scottsburg. Funeral Services: 1pm,
Friday, June 27 2008 at the church with Larry J DeWitt, Tom Lewis, &
Shawn Allen officiating with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Memorial

Max V Richey, Jr., 58, of Lexington IN, died Saturday, June 7 2008 at his residence near Lexington. Max was born November 5 1949 in Scottsburg, to Max V Richey, Sr. and Mary Cravens Richey Fryfogle. He was preceded in death by his mother, his stepfather William R Fryfogle, and a brother. Max was an employee with the City of Scottsburg Electric Dept., a member of First Christian Church of Scottsburg, and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. He married Anna L Walker Richey on April 15 1970 and she survives. Other survivors: son, Max W Richey & wife Holly of Lexington; daughter, Melissa Dawn Shields & husband Chris of Lexington; brothers, Steven Richey of AZ, William Fryfogle & wife Marcie of Scottsburg, Michael Wayne Fryfogle of Baltimore MD; sisters, Vickie M Tucker & husband Jeff of Indianapolis, Lelani Ellis & husband Brian of Fernandina Beach FL, Barbara Neiswender & husband Bob of Scottsburg & Robin Bower Kramps; 5 grandchildren: Greg Shields, Quinton Shields, Shaina Richey, Kyle Shields, Eric Richey; & father, Max V Richey, Sr., AZ. Albertson, 58, died Wednesday, June 4 2008 at his residence north of Little York
IN. He was born June 22 1949 in Gibson Twp., Washington County IN to Phillip &
Lula Marion Albertson who are deceased. He was married to Sharon K Killion
Albertson who survives. Harlen was an automotive mechanic and was a member of
Mt. Hebron Christian Church. Other survivors: sons, Timothy Albertson of Miami
