83, of Scottsburg IN died Tuesday, October 28 2008 at Wedgewood Healthcare
Center in Clarksville IN. She was born June 3 1925 in Livermore KY to Evan &
Katie Gilmor Wilson, deceased. She was married to William Samuel Morris also
deceased. Cora was a homemaker and a member of New Life Ministries in Austin IN.
Survivors: sons, James Robert Gilmore (Shirley) of Macombe MI, Jerry Morris
(Sheryl) of Commiskey IN, Bruce Morris (Lisa) of Warren MI, Pete Morris (Jenni)
of North Vernon IN; daughters, Bettie Hawn (Randy) of Scottsburg, Alice West of
Warren MI, Mary Redicker (Mark) of Woodbury MN; 2 brothers & 1 sister, 20
grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by
daughter Linda Sturgill & step daughter Cora Lee Morris.

Allen McCammon, 84, of Scottsburg IN, died at his residence
Monday, October 27 2008. He was born March 23 1924 in Sellersburg IN to Lester &
Ruby Prather McCammon who are deceased. He was married to Georgetta Roll
McCammon who also is deceased. Allen was self employed in heavy equipment sales;
a graduate of Silver Creek High School in Sellersburg IN; a member of Scottsburg
United Methodist Church, Scott County Family Moose, and the American Legion.
Allen also served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on Destroyer Escort Ship Amick.
Survivors: sons, Barry McCammon of Atlanta GA & Tedd McCammon of Charlestown IN;
daughters, Jan Thompson & Kerry of Scottsburg, Amy Schilawski & John of New
Whiteland IN, Susan Carter & Dee of Austin IN; daughter-in-law Mary Ann McCammon
of Virginia Beach VA; sister, Betty Boley & Raymond of Scottsburg; 12

Miller, 94, of Scottsburg IN died Tuesday, October 28 2008 at Scott
Villa Nursing & Rehab Center in Scottsburg. Linnie had resided in Scottsburg
since 2007, having previously resided in Borden IN. She was born May 30 1914 in
Goodlettsville TN to Lorenzo & Matilda Bush Gillihan, deceased and was also
preceded in death by her husband Leroy Miller. Linnie was a retired beautician
and a housewife and a member of Palmyra Assembly of God. Survivors: sons, James
G Ziemba (Vicki) of Scottsburg & Leonardo Durrette of College Station TX;
daughter, Deborah Adkins of Louisville KY; several brothers & sisters, 11
grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren & 7 great great grandchildren. She was
also preceded in death by daughters Carol Brandenburg & Linda Cotton. No

Cinton Edward Gibson, 67, of Lexington IN died Tuesday, October 21 2008 at King's Daughters Hospital in Madison IN. He was born April 16 1941 in Harlan County KY to Harrison & Martha Gross Gibson who are deceased. Clinton married Carolyn Bridgewater on October 8 1966 and she survives. He was a retired security guard at IKE & Marble Hill and a former iron worker; a member of Lexington Christian Church serving as Elder, Secretary & Treasurer; and a member of English Lodge F&AM #622 in Lexington IN. Survivors besides his wife Carolyn; brothers, Tommy Gibson & wife Debbie of Austin, Harold Gibson & wife Jean of Austin, and Virgil Gibson & wife Carol of Carlisle OH. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Oscar Jim Gibson & Omer Gibson. Visitation: 4pm-7pm, Thursday, October 23 2008 & after 9am Friday at Stewart Funeral Home. Hall, 79, of Scottsburg, died Saturday, October 18 2008 at Scott
Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg. He was born October 2 1929 to Clifford Wayne &
Goldie Walker Hall who preceded him in death. Sheldon was retired from Indiana
Telephone Corp. & Contel and was a member of Lexington Presbyterian Church and
Telephone Pioneer. He was married to Josephine Reece Hall who survives. Also
surviving, son, Larry Hall & wife Debbie of Scottsburg; daughters, Sharon L
Nowlin & husband Dale of Scottsburg & Joy Brinson & husband John of Madison;
step-sons, Bill Williams & wife Joni of Underwood & Jim Williams & wife
Dessalena of Scottsburg; and step-daughters, Jamie Williams of Scottsburg &
Jeannette Marling of Underwood along with several grandchildren & great
grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brother Clifford Eldon Hall.
