Denise Ann Thomas Henson, 48, of Jeffersonville IN, died Monday, April 27 2009 at her residence in Jeffersonville. She was born March 17 1961 in Scottsburg IN to James Edward & Lillie Robbins Thomas. Denise was married to Kenny Henson on November 13 1993 and he survives. Denise was office manager with Parallel Products in Louisville KY and a member of the Baptist Church. Other survivors: daughter Ashley Nichol Bruner of Simpsonville KY; brothers Mark Thomas & Julie of Scottsburg & Paul Thomas & Becky of Scottsburg; grandchildren Alexis Bruner, Kayla Bruner & Molly Bruner; mother Lillie Thomas of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her father James. Pallbearers: Kermit White, Shane Tipton, Darrell Henson, Jason Babbs, Sam Babbs, Aaron Henson. Honorary Pallbearers Ernie Henson, Bobby Wilson, Jerry Wilson, Frances Stough, Hazel White, Janie Hogan. Visitation: 4pm-8pm, Wednesday, April 29 2009 & after 10am Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 1:30pm Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Burns & Pastor Todd Crosby officiating & entombment at Scottsburg Cemetery. Cecil Charles Spry, 92, of Blocher IN area, died Sunday, April 5 2009 at his residence near Blocher. Cecil was born December 13 1916 in Deputy IN to Charles & Maggie G Innis Spry who are deceased along with brothers Harley Spry & Raymond Spry and a sister Margaret Anderson. He was married to Mamie Eador Spry who survives. He was a member of the Methodist church, and Railroad Union, a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII, and retired from the CSX railroad in l974 as a section foreman after starting employment with the old B&O Railroad. Other survivors along with his wife Mamie is a sister, Dorothy Mae Everroad of Dallas TX.and many nieces & nephews Marjorie & Sam Lewis, Carol & Gary Mohr, Rebecca & Steve Jordan, Vicki Haskell, Michael & Mar Everroad, Randy & Susan Everroad, Jack & Judy Anderson, Tommy Anderson & Judy & Hershel Murphy. Visitation: 4pm-8pm, Tuesday, April 7 2009 & after 11am, Wednesday at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 1pm, Wednesday, April 7 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Brackney officiating and burial in Pisgah Cemetery.
