Janet Clare Dambra, 76, of Scottsburg IN died Monday, September 28 2009 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg. She was born October 17 1932 in Chicago IL to Thomas Maurice & Helen Marie Wolff Bromund. She was married to Angelo Dambra. Janet was retired as an agent for mobile phone sales in Chicago. Survivors: son Robert Dambra of Scottsburg; sisters Judy Snow (Joe) of Austin, Barbara Coomer (Frank) of Austin, Mary Clifton of Bolingbrook IL; grandchildren Frank Dambra of Scottsburg & Robert Dambra of Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband & a son Frank Dambra. Visitation: 6-8pm, Thursday, October 1 2009 at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 8pm, Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor David James officiating. Burial will follow later at New Providence Cemetery, Austin IN. Roy A Hardin, 63, of Scottsburg IN, died Thursday, September 24 2009 at Floyd Memorial Hospital & Healthcare Services in New Albany IN. Roy was born December 1 1945 in Scottsburg to Dennis J & Betty J Alexander Hardin. Roy was retired from Morgan Foods; he was a member of First Christian Church of Scottsburg; member of Local 89 Teamsters Union; and was a veteran of the Viet Nam war serving in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors: brothers Phillip A Hardin of Austin & Richard L Hardin of Scottsburg; nephew Michael Hardin; nieces Julie Hardin & Jennifer Hardin; 1 great niece & 1 great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sheri Rae Hardin. Visitation: 4-8pm, Sunday, September 27 2009 and after 9am Monday at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 11am Monday September 28 2009 at the funeral home with Phil LaMaster officiating and burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Military graveside services at the cemetery. Margaret had resided in Scottsburg since 2006, after having lived most of her life in Indianapolis IN. Margaret was born September 4 1915 in Marble Hill IN to James Wilkerson Wells & Minnie Shambaugh Wells. She was a retired secretary with Schwitzer industry in Indianapolis IN; a member of First Meridian Heights Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis; a volunteer at Children's Museum & a volunteer at Museum of Natural History. Survivors: sister Lavena George of Dekalb IL and many nieces & nephews.
