K Cunningham,
88, of Scottsburg IN, died Saturday, February 27 2010 at Floyd Memorial Hospital
& Healthcare Services in New Albany IN. He was born November 3 1921 in Kansas
Illinois to Ora Harrison Cunningham & Dillie Cecile Turner Cunningham both
deceased. He was married to Joyce L Sanders Cunningham who also is deceased. Mr.
Cunningham was a retired music teacher having taught for 35 years; was a former
band director of Austin High School, & retired from Bartholomew Consolidated
Schools. He was a graduate of Emerson High School in Gary IN; obtained a BS at
Western Kentucky & a Masters at University of Louisville. He was a member of
First Christian Church of Scottsburg; was a former choir director, former deacon
& superintendent at First Christian Church; a former member of Scottsburg Lions
Club & a life member of NEA (National Education Association). Survivors: sons
Terry Bradley Cunningham & wife Louetta of Conroe TX and DeVon K Cunningham II,
of Scottsburg. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers.
Visitation: 4pm-8pm, Monday, March 1 2010 &
after 9am Tuesday at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 11am, Tuesday,
March 2 2010 at the funeral home with Larry J DeWitt officiating
& burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.

Leora M Middleton,
of Nabb IN, died Saturday February 6, 2010 at Riverview Village in Clarksville
IN. She was born May 29, 1930 in Nabb and was a beautician and owner of Ma &
Pa's Concrete. She was a member of Marysville Christian Church & was predeceased
by her parents, Aaron & Nannie F Wise Bressler; her husband, Harold G
Middleton; a son, Gary Middleton; & a brother, Robert Bressler. Survivors: son,
Rickey L Middleton (Sharon) of Nabb; sister, Barbara Peacock (Earl) of Nabb; 3
grandchildren, Jason Middleton (Karen), Justun Middleton & Joshua Middleton
(Kristi); 6 great grandchildren, Kasey Middleton, Sydney Middleton, Elijah
Middleton, Gracie Middleton, Jaxson Middleton & Katey Middleton.
Visitation:
4pm-8pm, Monday, February 8 2010 & after 10am, Tuesday at Stewart Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: 1pm, Tuesday, February 9 2010 at the funeral home
with Melvin White & Robert Parish officiating, Burial in Lexington Cemetery.

Billie Jean Ruff,
74, of Scottsburg IN died Wednesday, February 3 2010 at Hickory Creek of
Scottsburg. She was born March 4 1935 in Chavies KY to William & Otie Holmes
Porter. Billie was a homemaker & a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors:
sons, William Leon Wolfe (Brenda) of Salem, Phillip Edward Wolfe Lynette) of
Austin, Wendall Lewis Wolfe of Scottsburg, Bill Dean Miller of Scottsburg;
daughters, Linda Sue Miller of Scottsburg, Joyce Lynn Burnett (Michael) of
Scottsburg; brothers Tommy Porter of FL, Carlo Porter of Blocher, Billy Ray
Porter of Underwood; sisters, Polly Ruth Strong, Pauline Baker, & Helen Campbell
all of Austin; 8 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her
parents, husband, brothers Manuel Porter, Taylor Porter Jesse Porter & sisters
Hallamae Hutchison & Thelma Combs & a grandchild.

9:30am-10:30am, Saturday February 6 2010 at Stewart Funeral Home. Graveside
Services: 11am, Saturday following visitation at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Austin

Donald R Hall, 71, of Scottsburg IN, died, Wednesday, February 3 2010 in Scottsburg IN. He was born May 25 1938 at Blue Island IL to Collins Hall & Stella F Whisman Hall and was married to Catherine M Pate Hall. Don was a graduate of Scottsburg High School Class of l956, completed 4 years college, and was a veteran & a retired Major with the U.S.Army. He also held membership with Zoah Christian Church where he served as Deacon; lifetime member of Disabled Veterans; Kentucky Colonel; Murat Shrine; Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite; Lexington F&AM. He was also presently holding the office of Vice President of the Scottsburg Alumni Association. Survivors: wife, Catherine M Hall of Scottsburg; daughters, Diane Faris Eve (Richard) of Borden & Connie Marie Kindle (Steven) of Cecila KY; 5 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren; mother Stella Hall of Scottsburg; brothers Jimmie D Hall (Janet) of Scottsburg & Robert C Hall (Berella) of Port Charlotte FL. He was preceded in death by his father and a son Donald R Hall Jr. Visitation: Noon - 3pm, Saturday, February 6 2010 at Zoah Christian Church. Memorial Services: 3pm at the church with Steve Wever officiating & Military Graveside Services. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations to Zoah Christian Church Building Fund "In Memory of Donald R Hall".
