Roger R Clark,
87 of Scottsburg IN, died at his residence on Monday, June 21 2010. He was born
May 13 1923 in Scott County IN to Lawrence E Clark & Elsie E Sommerville Clark.
Roger was a former supervisor of materials & supplies at IN/KY Electric at
Madison IN; was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corps, was a POW,
& was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of Kimberlin Creek Baptist
Church; VFW; American Legion #335 in Charlestown; DAV; Murat Shrine of
Indianapolis; English Shrine Club; Scottsburgh F&AM #572. Survivors: sons Ronald
Clark & wife Diana & Fred Clark; daughter Patricia Robison & husband Curtis; 4
grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, & 2 great great grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his parents & his 1st wife Marjorie L Clark & a sister
Violet VanCamp.

4pm - 8pm, Wednesday, June 23 2010 & after 9 am Thursday at Stewart & Hoagland

90, of Columbus IN, died Friday, June 18 2010 at Four Seasons Healthcare Center
in Columbus IN. She was born December 22 1919 in Scottsburg IN to Thomas E
Carter & Daisy Craig Carter. She has been married for 72 years to Byron E Darrah.
Mrs. Darrah was a homemaker, a member of Princeton Christian Church in Princeton
IN; Coterie; SOS at her church; charter member of Salvation Army; volunteer &
Board Member of Salvation Army in Princeton IN. Survivors: Byron E Darrah of
Columbus; daughters Jacqueline D Franz & husband Sherman of Columbus & Jill
Wright of Princeton; son Rod Darrah & wife Martha of Dayton OH; 10 grandchildren

Edith Jones, 82 of Scottsburg IN, died Thursday, June 17 2010 at her residence in Scottsburg IN. She was born January 31 1928 in Manchester KY to Charles Ollie & Edna Gregory Ollie. Her first marriage was to John C Crawford & her second marriage was to Sandlin Jones. She was previously employed at Morgan factory and attended the Pentecostal church. She was born May 11 1924 in Lee County KY to Shafter & June Roberts Cole. She
was married to Ruthford Susnick. Eula was a member of Scaffold Lick Baptist
Church; was a retired teller at Scott County State Bank; & was formerly employed
at Gladstein's. Survivors: daughter Anne Toler & husband Donald of Scottsburg;
son Ruthford A Susnick & wife Sharron of Fresno CA; sister Nancye Smith &
husband Bert of Lexington KY; 3 grandchildren Charity Brown & Tim of Clovis CA;
Jessica Richey & Todd of Scottsburg; James D Toler & Holly of Scottsburg; 6
great grandchildren Tess Richey, Jarrett Richey, Dawson Richey, Abigail Brown,
Allison Brown, Jenna Toler. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her
husband, 5 brothers James Cole, Irvin Cole, Paul Cole, Troy Cole, Nolan Cole; &
a sister Dorothy Medcalf.

Isaac was a 6th grade student at Charlestown Middle School in Charlestown IN. Survivors: father Johnny Butler of Louisville KY; mother Teena Butler & Mark Hook of Charlestown IN; sister Claudia Butler of Charlestown IN; maternal grandmother Rebecca Jane Fletcher & Jeff of Lexington IN; maternal step grandfather Larry Collier of Scottsburg IN; maternal grandfather Jerry Lee Darington & Cheryl of Blocher IN & paternal grandmother Vanita Holland of Wynne AK. 94, of Ft. Myers FL & formerly of Salem IN and the Little York IN area, died
Sunday, May 23 2010 at Hope Hospice in Ft. Myers FL. She was born July 31 1915
in Gibson Township Washington County IN to Hershel & Florence Hawn Johnson. She
was married to Herman Gross. Fay was a graduate of Little York High School, a
member of the Little York Christian Church, and was retired from Smith Cabinet
as a fitter. Survivors: husband Herman Gross of Ft. Myers FL; daughter Brenda
Saunders & husband Bob of Ft. Myers FL; 3 step grandchildren Christine Dwyer
(Ed), Kim Vasquez (Jon) & Michelle Blackwell; & 4 step great grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Janet Sue, a brother Oral
Johnson; & sisters Hazel Morris, Olive Telle & Beulah Rutherford.
